Conscious Hotel Museum Square

Location was more than perfect !!! Also, I was given a room on the 4th floor, and the view was so beautiful, if I looked to the right, I saw the Concertgebouw, the Museum Square and at the end of it the building of the beautiful Rijksmuseum. Very inspiring! And a very interesting cappuccino - beautifully foamed!

Our double room was very nice and cosy. We were on the 4th floor, facing the courtyard, which was perfect because there was no noise at night. The bed was quite big for two people and I loved sleeping on that mattress! They have a ‘pillow menu’ where you can choose the type of pillow you want and I thought that was quite funny :) You have everything you need in the bathroom and water pressure was good. I’ve read people complained about water spilling all over the bathroom floor and was worried about that, but, honestly, I just went in, closed the shower door behind me, turned the pressure a little down and everything was alright. Room temperature could easily be adjusted from the thermostat and the heater knob so we weren’t cold at all. We missed the wine & cheese hour (17-18), but we did find a small welcoming package with snacks and drinks in our room which was nice. Overall it was a great short stay and we loved the attention they give to making sure it’s an enviromental friendly hotel! I would recommend this place to anyone and will definitely come back.

She absolutely made our experience unforgettable! From the moment we met her, we could feel the positive energy she brings to the hotel. Her warmth and happiness are contagious, and she genuinely goes out of her way to make sure every guest feels taken care of. Marjolijn is not only attentive but also radiates a sense of calm, as if she’s the heart of the hotel—like the loving “mamma” of the place, making sure everyone feels welcomed and at home. Her sweet demeanor and helpful nature add a new layer of charm to the hotel. It’s rare to come across someone who brings such an uplifting spirit to their work, and she truly enhances the entire experience. I left feeling not only well-rested but also inspired by the kindness she exudes. If you’re looking for a hotel with a welcoming, positive vibe, great style, and a personal touch, the Conscious Hotel is where you need to be. The location is amazing, rooms are cozy. The price is reasonable and provides great value The people there were helpful and very friendly. We got the most basic room for 1 day and still got a welcome glass in the reception and cocktail in the room with free snacks. Easy 10/10

EVERYTHING about this place is the best. I will continue to keep coming back because of the staff though. They make me feel like family when I am away from mine.
